{% hint style="info" %}
**Who can use this feature?**

* Workspace **Owners**, **Super** **Admins**, **Admins**, **Users**, and **Guest** **Users**
* Collection **Owners**
* Supported using the Cerby web app and mobile app. For the web app instructions, read the article [Remove a user from a collection](https://help.cerby.com/cerby-web-app/collections/managing-access-to-your-collections/remove-a-user-from-a-collection)
  {% endhint %}

As a collection **Owner**, you can remove a user from a collection. With this action, the user loses access at the collection level to all the items within the collection.

{% hint style="info" %}
**NOTE:** Unlike the Cerby web app, when you use the mobile app to remove a user from a collection, you cannot choose to grant the user direct access to the items.
{% endhint %}

To remove a user from a collection, you must complete the following steps using the Cerby mobile app:

1. Open the Cerby mobile app.
2. Log in to your Cerby workspace.
3. Activate the **Collections** tab.
4. Tap the corresponding collection card. A screen is displayed with the list of items inside the collection.
5. Tap the **Settings** icon located at the top right of the screen. The collection details screen is displayed.
6. Tap the right arrow icon from the **Members** list within the **Sharing** section. The **View members** screen on Android or **Members** screen on iOS is displayed
7. Select the corresponding member from the list. The **Update Roles** screen is displayed.
8. Select the role assigned to the user through the collection. A drop-down menu is displayed at the bottom.
9. Select the **Remove access** option from the menu. A confirmation dialog box is displayed.
10. Tap the **Remove** button. The screen closes, and a success message box is displayed.

Now you are done.
