Remove a local partner

This article describes how to remove a local partner from your Cerby workspace.

Who can use this feature?

  • Workspace Owners, Super Admins, and Admins

  • Available to Cerby Automate

  • Only supported using the Cerby web app

To remove a local partner from Cerby, you must complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to your corresponding Cerby workspace.

  2. Select the Partners option from the left navigation drawer. The Partners view is displayed.

  3. Select the corresponding local partner.

  4. Click the More options (...) icon located at the top-right side of the partner’s information. A drop-down list is displayed.

  5. Select the Remove partner option. The Remove partner? dialog box appears.

  6. Click the Remove partner button. The dialog box closes, and a success message box is displayed.

Now you are done. You have successfully removed a local partner from Cerby.

After a local partner has been removed, the following occurs:

  • All guest members from the partner's side are deactivated from the workspace; thus losing their access to the shared items.

  • Host Admins with the Owner role keep the ownership over the items.
