As an app integration Owner, you can perform the following management tasks to secure member access to your seat-based and paid social apps:

The following sections describe each task.

Turn on 2FA for user accounts

As an app integration Owner, you can turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) to secure the user accounts connected to Cerby that app members use to log in.

With 2FA on and managed by Cerby, verification codes are automatically filled when you log in to your app from the Cerby web app or Cerby browser extension using a browser. When you log in with a mobile phone, you can use the autofill feature of the Cerby mobile app for iOS and Android.

To turn on 2FA automatically for app members’ user accounts, you must complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to your corresponding Cerby workspace.

  2. Select the Apps option from the left navigation drawer. The Apps view is displayed.

  3. Click the Settings icon of the corresponding app card. The app details page is displayed with the Settings tab activated.

  4. Activate the Members tab.

  5. Click the More options icon of the corresponding user. A drop-down list is displayed.

  6. Select the Turn on 2FA option. The Turn on 2FA dialog box is displayed.

  7. Click the Turn on 2FA button. The dialog box closes, and a message box is displayed with a message about the process.

A success message box is displayed when the process is complete.

Rotate passwords for user accounts

As an App integration Owner, you can rotate passwords for the user accounts connected to Cerby that app members use to log in. With an automation task, Cerby changes the password to a secure password following the strength rules of your app.

To rotate passwords automatically for app members’ user accounts, you must complete the following steps:

  6. Select the Rotate Password option. The Rotate password dialog box is displayed.

  7. Click the Rotate password button. The dialog box closes, and a message box is displayed with a message about the progress of the process.

A success message box is displayed when the process is complete.
