By default, the Cerby browser extension displays the Add your account to Cerby dialog box to all workspace users each time they log in or sign up for a website domain. However, workspace Admins may want to limit account creation to all or specific website domains. Furthermore, certain domains may not comply with corporate security policies, leading Admins to exclude them from being saved in the workspace.

As a workspace Admin or Super Admin, you can configure how users capture new account credentials and specify the website domains for which the browser extension displays the Add your account to Cerby dialog box.

The following sections describe each setting:

Turn on or off the account autosave setting in the workspace

Turning on the account autosave settings in the workspace means that Cerby can detect users’ login and signup attempts on all or specific website domains you specify and suggest that they save their accounts through the browser extension. On the contrary, disabling the settings means that they are unavailable for all users.

To turn on or off the account autosave settings in the workspace, you must complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to your corresponding Cerby workspace using the Cerby web app.

  2. Select the Settings option from the left navigation drawer. The Workspace Configuration page is displayed with the General tab activated.

  3. Activate the Autosave settings tab. The Autosave accounts in your workspace page is displayed.

  4. Select whether the account autosave settings must be available for workspace users by performing the following:

    • Activate the Autosave accounts in your workspace switch to turn on the account autosave settings for all workspace users. The following occurs:

      • The information on the user who modified the setting and the date and time has been updated.

      • The For which domains should Cerby suggest autosaving accounts? field is displayed. This field contains the settings to configure the website domains for which the Cerby browser extension displays the Add your account to Cerby dialog box.

      • Depending on the setting selected in the For which domains should Cerby suggest autosaving accounts? field, the Search or type a domain you want to autosave credentials field, and the allowed or excluded domains list are displayed below.
NOTE: To learn more about these settings, refer to the Configure the website domains for the account autosave settings section.

    • Deactivate the Autosave accounts in your workspace switch to turn off the account autosave settings for all workspace users. The information of the user who modified the setting and the date and time is updated, and all fields below disappear from the page.

Now you are done
