Cerby securely stores your login credentials, including usernames, passwords, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) codes, easing the login process on your mobile phone.
When the Cerby mobile app detects a login screen, it automatically suggests the appropriate credentials, enabling you to autofill them directly or copy and paste them into the app’s login fields.

The following are the requirements to effectively use the Cerby mobile app to log in to your accounts:

Log in to an app with the Cerby mobile app
The following are the cases you might encounter while using the Cerby mobile app to log in to your accounts on your mobile phone.
The following sections explain how to log in to your accounts for each case.
Log in to an app without MFA
To log in to apps that don't use MFA and only require filling in a username and password, you must complete the following steps:
Open the app you want to log in to.
Access the login screen.
Tap the Username field. The following might occur:
If you have the Allow Autofill feature correctly configured, your credentials saved in Cerby are displayed.
Tap the credential that matches the account you want to access. The Username field is filled in with your username information.
NOTE: You might need to log in to your workspace using your identity provider (IdP) credentials.
If the credentials saved in Cerby are not displayed. The following options are available:
Review whether the Allow Autofill feature is correctly configured for the Cerby mobile.
Follow the steps in the Log in to an app when you cannot use the autofill option section.
Repeat step 3 for the Password field.
Tap the Log in button.
Now you are done.
Log in to an app with MFA
To log in to apps that require filling in your username, password, and MFA code, you must complete the following steps:
Open the app you want to log in to.
Access the login screen.
Tap the Username field. The following might occur:
If you have the Allow Autofill feature correctly configured, your credentials saved in Cerby are displayed.
Tap the credential that matches the account you want to access. The Username field is filled in with your username information.
NOTE: You might need to log in to your workspace using your IdP credentials.
If the credentials saved in Cerby are not displayed. The following options are available:
Review whether the Allow Autofill feature is correctly configured for the Cerby mobile.
Follow the steps in the Log in to an app when you cannot use the autofill option section.
Repeat step 3 for the Password field.
Tap the Log in button. The screen to enter the corresponding MFA code is displayed.
Copy the MFA code from the Cerby mobile app by following the next steps:
Open the Cerby mobile app.
Tap the card corresponding to the account you want to log in to.
Press the field where the current MFA code is displayed. A green mark check is displayed within the field.
Return to the app where you want to log in.
Paste the MFA code you copied from Cerby.
Tap the button that verifies the code is correct.
Now you are done.
Log in to an app without using autofill
In some cases, the login screen’s input fields ight not be recognized as secure, which can prevent the autofill option from appearing. Additionally, depending on your device configuration, you might not have set up the Allow Autofill feature in the Cerby app settings.
To log in to apps that require filling in your username, password, and MFA code, when autofill is not available, you must complete the following steps:
Open the app you want to log in to.
Access the login screen.
Copy the corresponding information from the Cerby mobile app by following the next steps:
Open the Cerby mobile app.
Tap the card corresponding to the account you want to log in to.
Press the field where the information you want to copy, either username, password, or MFA code, is displayed. A green mark check is displayed within the field.
Paste the information you copied into the corresponding field.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all the required fields.
Tap the button to log in.
Now you are done.
