Who can use this feature?

  • Workspace Owners, Super Admins, Admins, and Users

  • Secret Owners and Collaborators

  • Available in the Cerby web and mobile apps and the browser extension

All users with shared access to a secret can view its details regardless of their workspace role. Additionally, if the secret requires an identity challenge, all users with shared access, including Owners, must confirm their identity to view a secret.

To view a secret using the Cerby browser extension, you must complete the following steps:

  1. Open the Cerby browser extension popup.

  2. Log in to your corresponding workspace using the Cerby browser extension.

  3. Select the Secrets option in the All items dropdown. All your saved and shared secrets are displayed.

  4. Click the corresponding secret card. The secret details popup is displayed with the secret content and attachments.

NOTE: If an identity challenge is configured, the Confirm your identity popup is displayed. To confirm your identity, use one of Cerby's multi-factor authentication methods.

  5. Click the View () button next to the Secret field to show the secret content.

Now you are done.
